Manual Handling for CHSP Volunteers

In this workshop we will look at what manual handling actually is, the challenges that manual handling presents to us as workers and volunteers and the risks involved. We also look at assessing, controlling and reporting risks and some of the tools and techniques we can use to help us in supporting our clients and keeping ourselves safe.

Date: Thursday 31st July 2025
Time: 12:30pm to 2:30pm    
Location: 'Myrtle Cottage', 6 Bosci Road, Ingleburn
Cost: Free for CHSP volunteers

Registrations are essential.

A light lunch provided at 12pm if you are also attending the Boundaries workshop for volunteers.
