MANY HANDS Volunteer Expo Bega Valley 2024

Calling Bega Valley not-for-profits to join us for the 2024 Many Hands Volunteer Expo! 

Coinciding with National Volunteer Week, this event is designed to promote local volunteering opportunities, provide community groups with promotion, exposure, and an opportunity to recruit new volunteers.

Many Hands also seeks to acknowledge and celebrate the valuable contribution volunteers make to our community. We are seeking registrations from local community organisations and groups that would like to participate and share their activities and events with the broader community.

Stall numbers are limited to ensure a curated event experience and a diverse range of organisations are represented.

Important Stallholder Information:

• Maximum TWO representatives per organisation please. 
• There are stall locations both indoors and outdoors and either a round or trestle table will be allocated to stallholders following final confirmation of participating organisations. 
• If stallholders wish to combine with multiple branches/orgs and have a larger stall, this should be indicated in your registration. *Please note there is no guarantee of a larger stall but we will do our best to accommodate requests.
• Final selection of participating groups will be confirmed in the first week of May.

The Many Hands Volunteer Expo is specifically targeted at not-for-profit groups in our region that rely on a volunteer base - registrations from businesses with commercial intent or groups with a political agenda will not be accepted.

There will be a free online workshop on Recruitment and Retention of Volunteers for your Organisation two weeks before the event to assist your group to maximise opportunities when engaging with the community about volunteering.

Photographs will be taken during the event. By attending, you consent to the use of any photographs taken, which may be used for promotional, marketing, or informational purposes by Bega Valley Shire Council and/or the Foundation for Rural and Regional Renewal. If you do not wish to be photographed, please inform the event organiser or the photographer during the event.
