Ready to Take Your Hiking Skills to the Next Level? 🧭

While good weather, a well-marked trail, and a smartphone with GPS can make for an enjoyable hike, true outdoor confidence comes from knowing how to navigate with a map and compass.

Join us for a hands-on session where you'll learn the basics of map and compass navigation. You'll also be introduced to Rogaining—an exciting, challenging, and social form of navigation that’s perfect for those who love exploring the outdoors.

WHEN: Monday night June 30

  • 5:30pm - 6:00pm Registration and a bowl of hearty, homemade soup and bread roll.

  • 6:00pm - 8:30pm Staff from Paddy Pallin will lead the hands on learning to navigate with a map and compass class and an intro to Rogaining.

WHERE: Indoors at The Royal Society of Victoria, 8 La Trobe Street, Melbourne.
