MAPS Beginner Programming Competition

You must compete in person and be a Monash student to be eligible for prizes. However, you may still participate in the contest online.

You may compete in a team of 1–3 people. If you compete as a team, you may only use 1 device during competition.

Rules:

The competition does not allow the use of AI, and any usage will result in instant disqualification.

The following are the only resources permitted during the content:

• Any MAPS presentation slides

• Any official language documentation

Please do not use Google and have the pages ready directly.

11am – 12pm: Introduction to competitive programming and rules briefing

12pm – 4pm: Competition time! (with food)

4pm – 5pm: Debrief. Go through solutions to competition problems
