Estrela do Mar Inc is a Not-for-Profit organisation.

We teach rhythm, song & movement at regular workshops. Our style is traced through the lineage of groups (or "nations") such as Estrela Brilhante, Leão Coroado, and others. We share a living tradition of maracatu locally to promote social inclusion, break cultural barriers, and facilitate community building & engagement.
