Thursday, November 14th | 6 PM | Our Lady of the Snows | $5 | Sign-up Required
Join in the fun of learning the ancient technique of marbling & creating a one of a kind baseball hat! Relax and learn why marbling is so fun!! Enjoy this class in creating a marbled pattern by floating paint and dipping your hat in it. These are awesome for men, and women and we even have children’s hats. The tools are easy to use and you will create a one-of-a-kind piece of wearable art. You will also get to see everyone else create patterns for their hats! All supplies are included and everyone will get a baseball hat to marble. There will be a variety of hats to choose from.
This class is taught by Stephanie Howerton from Our Children’s Earth. She has always had a passion for creating things. She loves the fiber arts like marbling, hand dyeing, and felting. She also co-owns The Local Artisan Collective. She has been marbling for over 5 years and loves it! She is always excited to see people's faces when they flip their marbled pieces over and they get to see what they created. She has been featured in the Huffington Post, VEIN Magazine, Indie Ogden, Standard-Examiner, Good Things Utah, Fresh Living KUTV 2 News, Fox 13 News and a variety of blogs and more.
