Marcellin College Parent & Son Italian Cooking Classes
Event description
"What’s for Dinner?"
Exciting New Cooking Classes for Boys & Their Parents – Learn, Cook, Eat and Share!
We are thrilled to announce a brand-new initiative from the Marcellin College Parents & Friends Group – Cooking Classes for Boys and their Parents! This is a fantastic opportunity for our boys to step into the kitchen, learn a vital life skill and take some of the pressure off parents when it comes to meal prep. Plus, what better way to bond with your teenager than by preparing a delicious meal together?
Each session will run for 2.5 hours and our accomplished chef Paul De Noury will guide you through the preparation of a delicious three-course Italian meal, featuring:
- Bocconcini skewers with olives and bread
- Homemade gnocchi
- Classic panna cotta
Afterward, you’ll sit down and share the meal you’ve created together! We will also be learning how to make simple but effective and healthy drinks for our sons!
What a perfect way to teach our teenagers essential life skills, foster independence, and bring families together in a fun and collaborative environment. Also to appreciate what it takes to prepare a delicious meal for a family and hopefully some renewed gratitude to all the mums, dads and carers out there. Whether they’re a complete beginner or have a budding interest in cooking, this hands-on experience will be both enjoyable and educational.
All boys must be accompanied by a paying adult. A ticket must be purchased separately for each son and their accompanying adult. If you want to bring more than one son then that is absolutely okay, we can arrange additional cooking stations for you.
For those that want to check out the credentials of Paul, he runs a fabulous cooking school cooking a whole variety of cuisines. See Paul's website here... https://eatcooklearnlovefood.c...
This is the first time we are running this initiative and if it proves successful we will run it again next year, perhaps a few times and introduce other cuisines like Spanish, Mexican, Moroccan.
Most of all grab your tickets before they sell out as we expect this is not only going to be essential skills for your sons but it will be hugely fun and sell out.
