Our monthly slams are back!

Following a magnificent, packed out Grand Slam at the Art Gallery of NSW, we are back to hosting our monthly slams. If you would like to join us at 7 pm to break fast with us, all are welcome. Some light refreshments will be provided and there will also be an awesome food truck with halal and vegetarian options. Prayer facilities will also be available.

7 pm - 8 pm: Iftar (breaking fast)

8 pm - 9:30 pm: Poetry Slam! (no breaks)

Do not miss out on our first slam of the year with our incredible international feature, Palestinian artist Farah Chamma!

🍉 If you are intending to sign up to perform at the slam, please book a ticket and sign up to perform at the door. We are no longer offering free artist tickets but if you you have special circumstances/are experiencing financial difficulty and need tickets, please email us!

🍉 We've changed our ticket provider to Humanitix! They give 100% of profits to education projects. If you have any feedback about the change from Eventbrite, let us know via DM or email.

🍉 Regular slam rules apply: No age restrictions/ 3 minute time limit/ no props or music/ poetry must be your original work.

🍉The top 4 scoring artists will be granted a spot at the Grand Slam.

Poetry aficionados, appreciators of HipHop and literature that beats with a thunderous heart — you absolutely do not want to miss this!
