Australia's largest regular poetry slam is back!

This month's feature is the amazing TOM KALDOR. Tom is a creative generalist (many trades, none mastered) from Sydney. He spent years at the perimeter of spoken word circles. As a kid, Tom idolised Def Jam slams and freestyled at high school parties. But it took a global crisis (and the birth of his daughter) to finally jump into the poetry ring. He was NSW champion and National third place in the 2021 Australian Poetry Slam. He also makes hip hop music as "The Middle" and is the writer for the "Laws of Creativity" project.

🍉 Arrive at 6:30 pm for a 6:45 pm start. Poet sign ups open at 6:15pm.

🍉 Regular slam rules apply: No age restrictions/ 3 minute time limit/ no props or music/ poetry must be your original work.

🍉 The top 4 scoring artists will be granted a spot at the Grand Slam (pending COVID restrictions).

Poetry aficionados, appreciators of HipHop and literature that beats with a thunderous heart — you absolutely do not want to miss this!
