Epic Stories of Growth

Event description

This month we hear from the owners of incredible businesses to learn about their journey to growth.

Scaling your business takes tools, structure, processes and risk, and learning these are a big focus for us this year!

We cannot wait to hear from the Aussie duo, Emily Bitkow and Sarah Hua, owners of VIVRA. If You came to our Christmas Belle event you would have had the pleasure of meeting these incredible women. VIVRA is the beltless pouch to carry your essentials that suit an active on the go lifestyle that are taking over Australia rapidly!

The reinvented bumbag was a hit at local markets and soon after, Sarah joined forces with Emily to grow VIVRA to what it is today. The duo is fierce and energetically passionate and I can't wait to hear how they've grown their brand.

Next, we will hear about Anna Holevas from Zorba's and Glambox. Zorba is a family-owned hairdressing salon that has been serving Carindale locals since 1979. Fast forward to today Anna now takes on the challenge of taking hair care online with her company Glambox which exists to eliminate the need to visit a hair salon or blindly follow a recommendation but simply lets you shop by hair type or goal or alternatively fill out a quick quiz. Anna is changing the hair game all while managing family life!

Finally, we have Stevie co-founder of Active Truth. Active Truth is an inclusive activewear brand with a focus on fit to give more women confidence and support for exercise and life stocking sizes from 6 to 26.

What is love about Active Truth is they champion women’s inclusivity, diversity and positivity through realistic marketing and a commitment to never retouching their images. Over 6 years the business has experienced strong growth from 100 pairs of tights as a side project, to an award-winning business with an online community of over 100K women.

And of course, there is plenty of food, wine, and incredible business leaders to connect with included in your ticket.

If you have not been to a Belle event before here is what you need to know:

  • We are not just for start-ups. We speak to issues of the current businesswoman focused on growing her business.
  • The host is nuts - This is a blessing because it seems to attract only the most authentic and powerful women. The bitchy ones are likely terrified of her. ha!
  • We don't shy away from the hard topics. We cover everything from confidence and mindset to risk-taking and financial literacy with everything in between, with the aim of leaving every event with a to-do list to grow and get better.
  • We are diverse. Our community is made up of ecom store owners, lawyers, health and beauty, doctors, marketers, and everything else you can imagine!
  • We like to eat cheese and drink wine and awkward salesy convos make us want to gag.

But above all we are friendly. There is no Belle ever left standing in a corner pretending to be on her phone. Promise.
