March Forward Riverina on International Women's Day 2025

Celebrate International Women's Day 2025 with an all day and evening event that celebrates the women from all fields from art and music to agriculture and academia, sport and adventure, motherhood to fashion, health and business and everything in between! 

Guests of the convention include: Aunty Cheryl and Marlene Penrith, Michelle Maddison, Prof Shookefah Shamsi, Dr Arnagretta Hunter, Dr Leeanne Hall, Rach Viski, Haya Arzidin, Bianca Lubke, Lisa Anderson, Gemma Purcell, Remote Leigh, Harriet Brennan, Janine Middlemost, Johanna Elms and more!

The theme for the UN is March Forward and we want to show how far we have some while recognising we have a long way to go! 

Starting with an all day event in the CSU Riverina Playhouse that has women telling their life and career stories and sharing how they have Marched forward utilising opportunities and despite challenges.

Together we will then March to the Riverside Stage where we will celebrate with free dinner, a sustainable fashion parade and music concert with a sing-a-long. Artists include: Melinda Bowker, Arvis Casanova, June Price, Boadicea, UNISONg Choir and more.

Please remember to bring a blanket or chairs.

Registration from 8.30 with a coffee van available for purchase of coffee and snacks. Light morning and afternoon tea, lunch an dinner provided.
