In January this year, Maree Walk, the CEO of ACWA, announced her resignation as she transitions towards retirement and shifts her priorities.
Maree has over thirty-five years’ experience in the human services area from direct service delivery, such as working on the front line in Domestic Violence and Child Protection in Western Australia, to Chief Executive and Deputy Secretary in the NSW government. She was also General Manager, Operations leading Benevolent Society for eleven years and served on peak bodies such as Families Australia, CAFWAA and GoodStart’s Expert Advisory Group, as well as being a former ACWA Board Chair and Director.
Please join us and sector colleagues from across NSW as we celebrate Maree Walk's long career as a staunch advocate for children and families.
