When dance teacher Lizzy Baker became a mum, she naturally wanted to combine her two big loves: dancing and her new baby. Her baby wearing classes became a place for parents and carers of new humans to connect to community and to their pre baby selves. She made a dance floor curated for the needs of a body that might have just given birth, a brain that might be struggling to string coherent thoughts together, and a human who is deep in baby land but still longing for friendship and fun.

Lizzy's baby is now a big kid, but Lizzy still passionately believes in support for parents of babies and young children. She is also excited to cuddle all your babies should you need to go to the toilet or just have a breather.

Mariah Carey's iconic Christmas song became the unofficial tradition of Lizzy's dance school every Christmas. It hasn't made an appearance since 2019, but it's time to bring it back.

Meet at the Adelaide hidden gem, Sophia, in Cumberland Park. Bring snacks/picnic and stay after the class to enjoy each other's company in the beautiful Sophia gardens. Feel no pressure for how much or little you want to participate in the class, and never ever feel apologetic if your baby cries or doesn't feel like it on the day. You're among friends and those who get it.

Structured baby carriers (ie not slings or wraps) are best for this class. Babies older than 12 weeks or able to hold their head up (or join earlier at your discretion and prepare to take the class more gently). Toddler siblings are also welcome.
