Marike Jager - Back In Australia Tour

Marike Jager is a well-known Dutch singer-songwriter. While backpacking through Australia as a teenager, she learned to play the guitar, while gathering experiences that would fuel her creative work for years to come. Now, 25 years later, she returns for her first Australian tour.

 A weaver of stories, Marike Jager is inspired by The Beatles, Fiona Apple and Tim Burton. Her music is intimate yet playful, adventurous and melodic. She has been nominated for multiple Edison Awards, was the guitarist in a Sam Smith video and worked with Grammy winner Tchad Blake (Tom Waits, Sheryl Crow, Crowded House) in the mixing of her records. She collaborated with hip-hop dancer Shailesh Bahoran and wrote a mesmerizing duet with Canadian songwriter Ron Sexsmith.
