Event description

Mariko Konno is an Artist and Illustrator who grew up in Sydney, Australia. She has a Scottish and Japanese Heritage and is now living on the Central Coast NSW. She draws inspiration from different cultures, fantasy & myth, femininity, nature and storytelling. She draws and paints in an illustrative Style on paper, canvas, on a tablet and paints murals.

Join us for a workshop that allows you to follow her processes of art making, using pencil, pen and adding a splash of colour through graphic markers. Create your own hero/heroin character, adding elements of flora and fauna or use an already drawn up image that Mariko has designed, allowing you to focus more on how to use graphic markers, shading and mixing colours in a fun, easy way!

Materials supplied, BYO also very acceptable!
