We’re going back to the good old days of a fully-seated Sound Doctor show with one of the rising stars of the folk world – Marina Allen.

The LA-based singer-songwriter returns to Australia with her recently released her third album Eight Pointed Star, an album that has had critics and fans alike raving. Marina’s voice, drawing comparisons to legends like Carole King and Maggie Rogers, brings a fresh take to the folk-rock revival space with her elegant lyricism and soft but strong delivery setting her apart from the crowd. Her songs hold a dynamism that conjure distinctive worlds of their own and this show promises to be a very special night out in Anglesea.

Settle in for an evening of Marina Allen’s pure and crystalline vocals performing her glittering, clear-eyed modern classic take on alternative folk and Americana.

This is a fully seated show - but seats are not reserved.

Licensed venue. Under 18s must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. BYO alcohol not permitted. The Sound Doctor events run like a theatre performance with a bar open before and after the show and at interval only.
