    Event description

Join us for this free workshop at the Hopetoun CRC learning how to identify our local marine life.

This workshop is for children aged between 6-12 years (approx.)

We will demonstrate the Rec Fish West app and show you what different features to look for when trying to identify marine life.

We will be joined by Kimberly Jenkins, DPIRD Community Education Officer, who will share and expain the “Fish for the Future” message with a great addition of some games and resources.

This workshop will go for approx 1-1.5 hours.

If you're under 12 years old, you'll need a parent or guardian to attend with you.

This event is made possible thanks to Inspiring Australia WA, Scitech, The Department of Jobs, Tourism, Science and Innovation, The Great Southern Reef Foundation, Save Our Marine Life and the wonderful team at Hopetoun Community Resource Centre.
