Event description

This month with Sustainable Backyards Bitesize events, we are focusing on protecting Aotearoa's sea creatures and have an awesome interactive talk about Marine Invaders! ๐ŸŒŠ๐Ÿ‘พ

Elizabeth Copeland is a Technical Officer from The University of Waikato's Te Aka Mฤtuatua - School of Science. She will be delivering a talk about invasive species and their impact on marine ecosystems in Aotearoa. She will provide some interesting learning aides for kids and adults alike to get hands on and learn how to identify and report these species when they see them.

Tickets are $5, please register and pay ahead of timeย as space is limited to 20 children and we want to keep classes small so everyone can be involved.ย

This would suit ages 8 - 16 yrs old and they must be accompanied by an adult. Please register a ticket for every child that will be attending.
