Join us for a fundraiser in support of Voice to Parliament supporter Marion Scrymgour
to help raise funds for her Lingiari campaign in the federal election to be held by May next year.

Tickets are $130 each with all proceeds going towards Marion’s campaign for Lingiari.

On the night, Marion Scrymgour will speak at the fundraiser event and we will auction some fine paintings by artists from Marion’s electorate of Lingiari.
The Federal electorate of Lingiari is the largest in Australia and covers all the Northern Territory minus the twin-cities of Darwin and Palmerston in the north.
Marion's priorities are:
• To defend the achievements of Land Rights in the Northern Territory and protect collective rights and decision-making to better support economic development by traditional owners on country on their own terms• To increase and better target Commonwealth funding for health, education, housing and jobs in remote communities• To protect steps taken at a Federal level to ensure clean water for all Territorians• To address domestic violence and youth crime by switching focus from incarceration to a firm approach to family responsibility
Marion is a Tiwi woman and a respected leader. She was CEO of the Northern Land Council and CEO of the Tiwi Islands Regional Council. She is a former member of the Northern Territory Legislative Assembly, representing Arafura electorate from 2001 to 2012.Before entering politics Marion was the CEO of the Wurli-Wurlinjang Aboriginal Health Service and the first CEO of Katherine West Aboriginal Health Board.
