Market Garden Blitz Day!

Join the Growing Together team as we prepare our first market garden for its first growing season! 

What we'll be doing

We will be creating new garden beds and planting cover crops, mulching and preparing our growing area, creating habitat for wildlife and setting up some basic infrastructure for workers, including a 🚀 rocket stove We will be there from 9.30am until 12.30. Come along for the entire morning, an hour or two or just pop in to say hi!

What to bring

Please bring a water bottle, appropriate clothing including closed shoes/boots, a hat and gloves. Tools will be provided. We will provide a first aid kit and sunscreen.

Getting there

Entrance to the market garden is through a side-gate in the Milton Showground. Please park in the Milton Showground near the toilet block.

This is a family friendly event and we will set up an area for children to play. Children must be accompanied by an adult or guardian and supervised throughout the day.
