Marketing & Profile Building for Community Groups

Shire of Mundaring is partnering with Community Station to deliver a volunteer development workshop designed to help community groups communicate their purpose more effectively and increase their visibility within the community.

During this practical session, participants will explore who they are trying to reach, what actions they want people to take, how to develop clear and engaging messages, where to promote those messages, and ways to strengthen their group’s profile and recognition.

Rather than trying to reach everyone or maintain a presence on every platform, attendees will learn how to focus their marketing efforts on the audiences and channels that will have the greatest impact. Participants will apply the concepts directly to their own organisation throughout the workshop and leave with a simple, actionable marketing plan that they can implement straight away.

Suitable for: community groups, clubs, associations, committees and volunteers responsible for promoting their organisation, attracting members, finding volunteers or increasing participation.
