Dr Nigel Bairstow is a researcher and academic at the University of Technology Sydney (UTS). His expertise encompasses consumer and business marketing relationships, international business in the Asia-Pacific region, and both online and offline retailing. Dr. Bairstow's work bridges the gap between academic theory and real-world application. He is also passionate about inspiring and mentoring students and engaging with industry professionals to collaborate on real-world problems.

John Clay has more than 20 years marketing experience in the professional services and telecommunications industries and a proven track record in building high performance teams to achieve organizational goals. John influences the marketing, communications, client engagement and corporate communications strategies for more than 90 offices around the world.

Speakers

Candy Jenkins is Careers Consultant at UTS. Candy has extensive industry experience in banking, IT/telco, FMCG and higher education including managing large-scale talent and leadership program from recruitment and selection through to talent development, succession planning and learning programs.

Professor Paul Burke is a Professor of Marketing and the Deputy Director, Centre for Business Intelligence and Data Analytics (BIDA) located in UTS Business School. He is an expert in applied and theoretical aspects of choice modelling, experimental design and consumer behaviour.

Monique Perry is a transformative business leader with a proven track record of driving year-on-year growth and navigating organisations through periods of significant change. As Managing Director at Nielsen Pacific, she has successfully led teams through industry turbulence by fostering resilience, adaptability, and a relentless focus on customer value.

Des Viranna has more than 20+ years of experience driving digital and data transformations to achieve sustainable growth for leading global organisations. He has a deep understanding of AI and GenAI, with a focus on leveraging these technologies to transform businesses and create new opportunities. He has been recognised as an IAPA Top25 Analytics Leader.

Sabeh Hassan is a strategic founder and operator with a proven track record in building AI-enabled, data-driven growth solutions for enterprise, government, and high-growth sectors. He is the founder and CEO of Eriko AI, a platform designed to help organisations transform siloed data into actionable, contextual strategies across marketing, sales, and customer success.

Dr Ellese F. is a media manager, content specialist, and academic with a PhD in Business (Marketing) from the University of Sydney. She has extensive experience in digital marketing and social media research, presenting her work internationally at institutions such as the University of Southern Denmark, Royal Holloway University of London, Macquarie University, and the University of Sydney.
