Marketing can feel overwhelming. With constantly changing platforms, new trends and endless advice about what your business should be doing, it's easy to lose sight of what actually works. Whether you're starting from scratch or your current marketing needs a refresh, this practical workshop will help you step back, refocus and create a clearer direction for your business.

As part of Kāpiti Coast District Council's business support programme, delivered through Business Kāpiti, we're working with Liv Young, founder of LILA Studios, to help local businesses build or refresh their marketing strategy. This hands-on workshop will explore the foundations of modern marketing and help you develop a clear, practical approach that supports your business goals.

What we'll cover:

Understanding your audience and what makes your business stand out.
Setting clear, realistic marketing goals.
Choosing the right marketing channels for your business.
Building a consistent brand message across your marketing.
Turning your ideas into a practical, achievable marketing plan.

With over five years of experience in social media strategy, content creation and digital marketing, alongside running her own clothing label, Liv brings a practical understanding of what it takes to market and grow a business. You'll leave with a clearer sense of direction, fresh ideas and the confidence to put your marketing strategy into action.

Perfect for: Business owners, retailers and anyone responsible for marketing a small business.

Wednesday 4 November | 9:30am–11:30am
