Overview
Having a great idea for a product or start-up is not enough. You need to ensure that idea will thrive out in the real world of customers and markets. And not just whether there is a gap in the market for your idea but whether there is a market in the gap. To do that you’ll need to run your idea through a market validation process.
This one day course will introduce you to that process and give you the tools to know how well your idea meets the needs of your target market. Along the way you’ll better understand if you need to refine, repurpose, or even reject your idea. Given that 80% of start-ups in New Zealand fail, enrolling in this workshop will increase the odds that you’re in the 20% that don’t.
Workshop Structure
In the Market Validation workshop we work with a programme roadmap, starting with your idea and moving through customer discovery, market analysis and sizing, value propositions and positioning, and business modelling. We’ll introduce a number of tools along the way that have a proven track record of helping businesses survive and thrive.
