Marking A Connection

In this five-day workshop, established artist Neal Palmer will share drawing and painting methodologies through continuous small-scale studies; testing the boundaries of composition, abstraction and realism.

Beginning with an intimate walk focusing on the natural environment of Corban Estate's expansive grounds, we'll observing the details of its trees, foliage and stream-side growth. Exploring our individual connection, we'll learn how to record our response to place through explorative mark-making.

Participants will gain a deeper understanding of how medium informs outcome, through multiple iterations of various mark making techniques.
