Marron & White Wine
Event description
Join us at Smallwater Estate for a summer sundowner, showcasing one of the most premium products to come out of our region, Donnybrook Marron.
As the afternoon progresses you will enjoy a selection of canapes and small bites highlighting marron and other local produce, prepared by local chefs Dean Wood (of Smallwater Estate) and Ricky Mandozzi (from Rickles). Each course will be paired with a serving of local wine.
A bus departing the Donnybrook visitors centre at 2.30pm will bring you to the picturesque cellar door, overlooking the vineyard, marron dams and rolling hills of Newlands. Enjoy a drink on arrival, 5 x different savoury canapés paired with an 80ml serving of local white wine, ending on something sweet and a serving of rose. (Additional wines and beers are available to purchase). Then jump back on the bus at 6.45pm and you will be driven back to the Donnybrook Visitors centre in town.
