Come down to 10th Ave. and Santa Fe Dr. for an evening of expansive, emotive, experimental electronic music with a dark and rhythmic undercurrent. This is the 8th event in a series intended to bring together Colorado’s music community at the Aztlan Theater, which is in danger of being lost forever to gentrification and exorbitant property taxes. Ticket sales benefit the theater. All ages!

Martin Rev was born on 144th St. and Convent Ave. in Manhattan and raised in the Bronx. He started playing piano as a child and eventually became involved with the performance art scene in Lower Manhattan where he met Alan Vega, who became his partner in the pioneering synth-punk band Suicide. With Suicide, Rev developed a hypnotic electronic rock sound and confrontational performance aesthetic that has profoundly informed the punk, post-punk, synthpop, EBM, and darkwave genres, among others. In his solo work, Rev has explored thumping synth epics, breathtaking abstract noise, ultra-dancey art pop and much more. We are honored to host his first performance in Denver with face melting visuals by VJ Divine Enfant.

San Francisco based Loveshadow is the DIY pop outfit of Anya Prisk and Izaak Schlossman, who have been recording and DJing together since 2017. The two first bonded over their love of ‘80s sounds and soon began to create their musical world. The past is always in their palette, but Loveshadow’s nostalgia doesn’t trace to any single locus; it’s more like a cloud, and it’s through this haze that they breathe new life into the music they love. Their debut self-titled album was released with acclaim on Music From Memory in 2021, followed by their sophomore album, II, on Dark Entries Records in 2023.

This special live performance will feature Mishka (NTS, HydeFM) on decks and supporting vocals.

Fergus Jones is a Scottish artist living and working in Copenhagen. A producer and DJ lauded by Boomkat as “one of the underground’s key, if liminal, hyper-connectors,” he runs the label and event series FELT, which has released records by the likes of Civilistjävel! & Carrier. 

Praised for his productions, live performances, and DJ sets, Jones has notably contributed mixes to the long-running FACT and Truants series, and is a frequent guest on radio stations such as NTS, Rinse, and the Lot. He has toured in Australia, China, and Japan, and performed at clubs worldwide including Berlin (Tresor), London (Ormside Projects), Barcelona (Nitsa), Glasgow, and in his adopted city of Copenhagen.
