The Star Cinema in the Eaglehawk Town Hall is considered one of the most beautiful cinemas in Australia. Did you notice the carpeted stairs and ornate banisters as you passed the box office? During the Heritage Festival on Friday evenings, you are invited to ascend these stairs to Council Chambers, remarkably unchanged since 1901.

During the Heritage Festival, the Star Cinema welcomes those interested in history, cinema, wine, heritage architecture and hidden spaces to come along on a Friday evening between 5pm and 7pm as Chambers is reimagined as a unique Wine Bar.
