Marxist feminism: Why is Marxism necessary for women's liberation

Many of the historic demands of the women's liberation movement have now been attended and even embraced by governments in Australia and abroad. Nevertheless, women are still far from the goals set by the women's liberation agenda in the 1970s. This talk is an introduction to the topic and an opportunity to engage with tangible aspects of women's liberation from a perspective that historically has already brought up many victories to women.
