Event description

Bring your stories to life in this fun collage zine and mask-making workshop with artist Julia Drouhin.

You’ll explore the basics of creative writing and storytelling, then use collage and dress-ups to create your own zine and matching mask. It’s a playful way to get confident about sharing your brilliant (and sometimes silly!) ideas.

All materials provided.

Ages 8 - 14 years.

JULIA DROUHIN (she/her, VK7HAG) amplifies sound streams that reveal friction in sociality via radioscape, installation, gathering or collaborative performance. You can find her eating chocolate records or jumping on a trampoline with broken plates.
She is part of the Tasmanian Midi Orchestra and navigates a Sisters Akousmatica SEA HAG to vessel rogue broadcast.
Julia completed her Ph.D about the art of walking and broadcast impact in public space in Paris 8 France in 2011 before living in lutruwita/Tasmania (Australia), where she currently works with artists living with disabilities and youth in local communities. She is represented by Penny Contemporary gallery.
