Red Pen - Master of Architecture Student Exhibition 2024
Event description
Welcome to our exhibition.
The Red Pen is a symbol of the nonlinear cycle of the design process. It is used to identify problems, to propose solutions, and to reflect on our own ways of thinking.
The class of 2024 has been busy exploring, refining and evolving our ideas and whilst our work is never final, we would like to share with you our passions, morals and drivers that we have been drafting for ourselves over our time with the University of Newcastle. We have listened deeply, felt deeply, and sketched our visions for the future towards housing models, sustainable practice, energy conscious design, decolonisation, connection to Country - for what we envisage for the future, not only of Newcastle, but throughout our architecture profession.
We would like to share with you our drafted new futures.
One that cares for Country.
One that embraces our environment.
One that connects people.
One that makes memories.
One that improves architecture.
We invite you to Red Pen.
