Event description

Trusted access to information has never been more important. Adelaide University’s suite of programs in Information Management prepares you to lead in libraries, archives, and digital information environments where knowledge and equitable access shape communities.

The suite includes:

  • Master of Information Management (Archives and Records Management)

  • Master of Information Management (Library & Information Management)

  • Graduate Diploma in Information Management

As the only programs of their kind in South Australia, they provide contemporary skills in metadata, cataloguing, digital archiving, readers’ advisory, social media engagement, and scholarly communication. You’ll also develop leadership capabilities and gain hands-on experience through fieldwork placements and a capstone research project.

Delivered fully online with interactive, flexible learning, these programs are designed to suit both aspiring and experienced professionals.

At this Information Night, you’ll hear from Program Director Dr Jo Kaeding, who will share insights into the programs’ structure, career opportunities, and the vital role information professionals play in today’s world. The session will also outline the Graduate Diploma in Information Management, ensuring prospective students understand the full range of study pathways available.
