You are warmly welcome to join this special masterclass with the co-originator of permaculture and the author of Retrosuburbia, David Holmgren. David will explore with us ways we can relocalise our food system in the suburbs and why this is an area he believes holds so much hope for climate safe, resilient and regenerative futures. David advocates for garden farming in the non-monetary household and community economies of gift and reciprocity, and says this will have a big part to play in growing new urban food systems in the shadow of the old.

Here at the Permaculture Education Institute we offer free permaculture masterclasses on the last Monday of each month. This month we are celebrating Urban Agriculture Month - an initiatve of Sustain Australia and we would love your company!

FREE SESSION - Registration for this session is totally free, but we warmly welcome you to donate if you can when you sign up. We send 100% to refugee youth-led community food and permaculture education programs.

SHARE WIDELY: Please share this invitation widely. We welcome anyone to attend from around the world!

RECORDINGS FOR REGISTRANTS: We look forward to seeing you there, but if you can't make it still register and we will send you the recording.
