Masterclass: Acting Craft and Critique
Event description
In this six-week acting intensive, participants will learn the basis of traditional acting methods and techniques as well as character and role development, and the ever-important art of giving and receiving constructive critism.
This is a foundational course for anyone interested in acting or performance. Participants without previous drama training are encouraged to attend.
This workshop is led by PYT's Director Jacqueline Hornjik. Jacqueline is a producer, director, and artist with over 20 years of experience in the performing arts.

Role preparation
Character development
Physicality in performance
Improvisation and spontaneity
Scene study and script analysis
Voice and diction for stage and screen
Understanding and applying constructive critiquing
Outcomes:
Participants will select scenes to perform with and without partners
