Marlie started her career at BMW Group Netherlands in PR in 2007. She was promoted twice in 1.5 years and went from intern to first Social Media Manager within the group worldwide at the age of 24. Upon discovering a gender wage gap, she resigned and returned to Australia to complete a Master in Business. She started on her own in 2016, launching various successful business models in Coaching, Presenting & Training and Networking-for-Women.

Marlie is passionate about coaching Entrepreneurs-on-a-Mission to stop being ‘the best kept secret’ and turn more potential customers into paying clients with the proven 9-step Meaningful Marketing Method.

FEATURED SPEAKER #3: Adam Beverley, Director at APB Sales Strategy

Adam Beverley has come from a long line of successful business owners and salespeople, going as far back as the founders of Metro Golden Myer films in Hollywood America. He is a self-confessed sales enthusiast, and at a young age in School he was that kid selling soft drinks and candy bars from his locker he would claim this was his very first sales job, by the end of high school he ended up raising enough funds to pay for his entire grades Year 12 formal and bought his first car. 

Born on the Gold Coast, at the age of 18 Adam started his career in Sales at Optus Business, and within his first, he was nationally recognized in the Top 5 Business Reps out of 250 reps across the country, competing against sales reps working in lucrative markets such as Sydney and Melbourne. Over the next 5 years, Adam would consistently finish as the number one Business sales rep on the Gold Coast 3 times in a row and won over 33 sales awards including, finishing in the Top 3 in Queensland 5 times in a row, finishing in the Top 5 nationally every year of his career. He also personally trained over 20 Sales reps, many of them achieving national recognition in Optus as well. 

Becoming a sales manager & trainer within Optus Business, Adam quickly fell in love with inspiring, motivating and creating top salespeople that had zero experience prior to working with him – and from this Adam decided to wrap up his career at Optus Business end of 2021 and went out on his own to start his very own Sales Training/Coaching Business – APB Sales Strategy.

TOPIC: Handling objections // Lead Conversion - How they will TRUST you. How to effectively overcome any objection thrown at you by any prospect with live crowd interaction. Adam is a firm believer that any objection given to you by your prospects are simple obstacles that can be removed if you are able to identify what form the objection takes and how to overcome it with confidence.
