Led by our A/Advocacy Manager, this session will guide participants through the guardianship and administration system in Western Australia, including how orders are made, what rights people retain under orders, and the options available when circumstances change or an order may no longer be appropriate.

The workshop will cover key topics including decision-making capacity, supported decision-making, evidence for reviews, the SAT review process, and practical advocacy strategies for navigating guardianship and administration matters.

Whether you are directly affected by an order, supporting a family member or friend, or simply wanting to better understand the system, this session offers clear information, practical examples, and the opportunity to ask questions in a safe and welcoming environment.

Perfect for: people with disability, families, carers, support workers, advocates, and anyone wanting to better understand guardianship and administration processes in Western Australia.
