Learn to DIY your own sketchbook from start to finish with this artist-led workshop designed especially for teens aged 13-17 years. Guided by artist and printmaker Kat Parker, participants will craft everything from the cover design of their sketchbook to the binding, and will walk away with their own handmade journal, plus the skills to do it all again from home.

This afternoon masterclass will cover:

  • Introduction to bookbinding
  • Designing and creating custom book covers
  • Folding and preparing pages
  • Piercing and stitching pages using Coptic binding
  • Finishing your sketchbook with professional techniques

No prior experience is needed – this workshop gives you step-by-step guidance and support to learn and develop your own craft and build your creative skills.
