    Event description

In this introductory, hands-on unit, participants will learn information and techniques covering:

    • How to look after existing, and new, plants in a waterwise garden so they will flourish all year round.
    • Looking at soil types and ways to improve them in order to permanently reduce time and costs.
    • A selection of native tube stock will be available to each participant to learn how to pot up or plant at home

What you need to bring – yourself, with closed in shoes and in old clothes you won't mind getting dirty in.

What is provided - All gardening products, materials and plants will be provided on this course. Gloves will also be provided, however feel free to bring your own. Morning tea (including tea, coffee and biscuits)
