Mastering Matcha 101
Event description
Matcha is a special type of green tea, renowned for its numerous health and beauty benefits. It is full of antioxidants and micronutrients and provides benefits such as detoxification, anti-ageing, and more! However, even if you get the best matcha, if not prepared correctly, it can lose these benefits and end up tasting bad.
In this exciting and practical online workshop, we'll explore the wonderful world of matcha, and we'll prepare some matcha including matcha green tea and lattes without traditional tea set. There will also be plenty of opportunities for Q&A so you will be able to get the most knowledge out of the class. Let's sip on matcha together and indulge in a delightful tea time discussion!

If you want to join our matcha-making session without purchasing our box, please make sure to prepare:
⁃ ceremonial grade matcha
⁃ room temperature water
⁃ hot boiling water (ensure a kettle nearby)
⁃ your preferred plant-based milk (I like to use Bonsoy or oat milk!)
⁃ a teaspoon
⁃ a glass jar with a secure screw-top lid
*NOTES:
⁃ please check your jar's sealing by filling it with water and giving it a good shake there to ensure there is no leakage
⁃ please do not buy or use a STAINLESS STEEL shaker as it will deteriorate flavour and colour of matcha
Please note:
- Reservations may be transferred to next available Mastering Matcha 101 class if more than 30 days’ notice is given.
- If you cannot make it to your reserved class, you are welcome to offer someone in your place.
- Cancellations are not refundable.
