The Matt Hill Band
Award winning songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Matt Hill will present songs from his new album, Sombre Mountain. Recorded in multiple home studios during the 2020 lockdowns, Matt teamed up with some of the Northern Rivers’ finest musicians to craft a thoughtful and compelling new record.
Best known for his delicate and beguiling keyboard lines with the group amphibian, Matt’s music lies somewhere between the worlds of ambient post rock and contemporary folk. Think Sufjan Stevens or Bon Iver meets Nick Drake.
Matt will be joined on stage with a band featuring Scott Hills, Barry Hill, Christian Pyle and his daughter Gabriella Hill.
