Matariki 2024: Live Whakairo (Carving) Session

As part of our Matariki 2024 celebrations, observe a live carving session by guest-curator and local carver Natanahira Te Pona.

"I am very passionate about carving wood and teaching the knowledge of Māori carvings. I am also a sculpture designer and painter. I work with schools in the local area and am also connected with the local Navy Marae-Te Taua Moana ki Te Hau Kapua."
This session is free to all participants with koha accepted upon entry. Please be sure to register so we can account for numbers.
