Matariki 2024: Raranga (Weaving) Workshop

Learn to weave a simple kono with raranga artist Kiriana O’Connell.

Over two hours you'll learn how to weave a small seamless kono with four corners. No previous experience necessary but if you have a love or curiosity of harakeke and would like to begin your weaving journey, nau mai, haere mai. The workshop will include a kõrero around harvesting and tikanga associated with mahi raranga

All materials will be provided. This workshop is free to all participants with koha accepted upon entry. Please be sure to register so we can account for numbers.
