Matariki 2024: Rongoā (Medicine) Workshop

As part of our Matariki 2024 celebrations, come and learn how to make wairākau and enjoy the unique flavour of our Kawakawa with Whaea Judy Henderson.

Wairākau is a drink extracted from plant material using water and heat. This infused drink then holds the healing vibration of the plant that may assist in the healing process of the hinengaro (head), tinana (body), and wairua (spirit). This inu (drink) may be consumed once or twice a day, warm or cold.

All materials will be provided. This workshop is free to all participants with koha accepted upon entry. Please be sure to register so we can account for numbers.
