Matariki Adult Paper Weaving, New Lynn Library, Thursday 18 July, 10am - 12pm

Join us in commemorating Matariki, the Māori New Year by embracing the ancient tradition of weaving.
We will use two weaving techniques: Weaving Matariki motifs using colourful paper strips, plus we will also use small cardboard looms to create a woven square.
This is a mindful workshop that is great for connecting communities.
When: Thursday, 18 July, 10.00 am - 12.00 pm
Where: New Lynn Library, 3 Memorial Drive, New Lynn, Auckland 0600.
