Matariki Kids Art
Event description
The Matariki festival happens across the Whangarei District in Pipiri–Hongongoi (June and July). At this free art making event, we encourage the children to make Matariki inspired UV art, stars and other objects for display during the Whangārei Night Lights Festival event (20-22 July).
Sessions available between 10.30am and 12 noon. After your session, you are welcome to enjoy the unique grounds and waterfall at the Quarry Arts Centre.
Children must be supervised at all times by a parent or carer. Children are not permitted to be dropped-off and left unattended.
Supervising adults do not require a ticket. Recommended for ages 3 to 15. Please do not get more tickets than you need.
