Matariki at MERC
Event description
We invite you and your family to join us at Sir Peter Blake MERC to celebrate Matariki at our Centre.
During this long weekend camp we will share what we have learned through our Iwi partners about Matariki with you. We'll take you on recreational experiences inspired by the whetu (stars) of Matariki. We will also adhere to some of the traditions which make up Matariki.
It will be a time to connect, reflect, grow, share and invest into our local Regional Park, while laying the foundation to start our next lunar year.
