MATARIKI ON MOANA

Matariki on Moana is Back Whānau - held on Saturday 11th of July with KORA - HOLLIE SMITH - TAWAZ hitting the stage In Ōtaki , Kapiti only 45 mins drive from Wellington.

The gates open at 10am with Whakatau and kapahaka kicking off at 11am. We have plenty of food, kawhe , markets, tamoko , art , clothing and music to help celebrate the Māori New year.

Tawaz the 2026 Māori Performer of the year will open a star studded line up , following is the amazing Hollie Smith to bring her Soulful Wahine Toa voice to the tepu. only for the table to be flipped and smashed by the one and only KORA ... so come celebrate the Māori new year at the biggest concert on the Kāpiti Coast -
