A little time for you, some creativity, connection and absolutely no art experience required.
Victoria Park Community Centre is delighted to welcome Michelle from Art for Wellbeing Together for a special introductory Maternal Journal Taster Workshop.
Maternal Journal is a guided creative wellbeing workshop offering pregnant people and new mums an opportunity to explore the experiences, emotions and changes that come with pregnancy, birth and motherhood through creativity and journaling.
Using guided prompts and a mix of drawing, collage, painting and creative writing, Michelle will gently guide you through the process. There is no pressure to create a masterpiece and absolutely no art experience is needed – this is about taking some time for yourself, expressing what is on your mind and connecting with others.
Maternal Journal creates space to explore the ups, downs and everything in between while encouraging positive mental wellbeing, creativity and connection.
