MATES in Construction SA 2026 Annual Luncheon

Every year, the MATES Annual Fundraising Lunch is a powerful reminder of what can happen when an industry chooses to look out for its own.

Through MATES, thousands of workers have learned how to start tough conversations, recognise when someone is struggling, and step in early. Research shows these skills don’t disappear when the training ends — they ripple into homes, communities and everyday life. They build stronger networks, reduce stigma, and create safer, more connected worksites.

But this work only continues if we keep showing up.

Join us on Friday, 15 May 2026 at Adelaide Oval as we come together once again to champion suicide prevention across South Australia’s construction and allied industries. We’ll reflect on the progress we’ve made, acknowledge the challenges ahead, and raise the vital funds needed to continue delivering the training and support that keeps our people safe.
