MATES Applied Suicide Intervention Skills (ASIST) Adelaide - Nuriootpa

Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training (ASIST) is a two-day interactive workshop in suicide first-aid that teaches you how to recognise when someone may be at risk of suicide and how to work with them to create a plan that will support their immediate safety. ASIST workers can be compared to the first aid officer on site.

ASIST is an internationally certified and recognised training and is considered the best practice when it comes to suicide intervention programs. 

Anyone 16 and over is eligible to register for this training session and no prerequisites are required. 

Thanks to generous funding from the SA Country PHN this course is FREE to the community and to Seeds of Hope for hosting this event. 

Please note this is a two-day workshop and you will need to be present for both days.
